(CNSNews.com) - A recent poll reveals that only 35 percent of adults believe the United States is on the right track under President Bush's leadership. The media, some say, might have contributed to Bush's low ratings, while others disputed the accuracy of the poll. The phone poll, conducted by Ipsos for the Associated Press from June 6 through June 8, surveyed 1,001 adults, 854 of which were registered voters. Forty percent of those surveyed said they were Republicans, and 50 percent Democrats. The largest age group, 31 percent, was between the ages of 18-34.

In the first quarter of this year, 43 percent of the newcomers' re-election campaign dollars came from PACs, a 15 percent increase from when they ran as non-incumbents, according to data collected by the Center for Responsive Politics.

(CNSNews.com) - A new survey on teen dating indicates that a quarter of all girls who are in a relationship have been pressured to perform oral sex or engage in intercourse. Thirteen percent of the teenaged girls surveyed said they had also been physically hurt or hit by their dates.The survey, commissioned by Liz Claiborne, Inc. and conducted by Teenage Research Unlimited (TRU), questioned 337 boys and 346 girls aged 13 to 18. Verbal, physical, and sexual abuse, the poll results showed, is not limited by race or geographic location.
