(CNSNews.com) - Pennsylvania Republican Governor Tom Ridge can't please abortion rights activists, nor can he please pro-life groups, all of whom are waiting, along with the rest of the country, to hear whether Ridge will be selected by George W Bush to be part of the Republican presidential ticket in the fall.The National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League has issued its Report Card on Choice, and given Ridge a grade of "D," for "disappointing work that continues to decline." Ridge is pro-choice, but favors certain abortion restrictions.

(CNSNews.com) - Hillary Clinton now has a challenger in New York's Senate Democratic primary. His name is Mark McMahon. He is a 39 year-old orthopedic surgeon, originally from Jericho, New York, now living in Manhattan. Monday, he announced he has collected the 15,000 signatures needed to get on the New York ballot. He now must file his candidacy by Thursday.McMahon is a graduate of Georgetown, Harvard Medical School and the London School of Economics. He is married to a practicing physician and has three children.
