Senator: Obama's Energy Policies Inspired by Hollywood Elites, Soros
The Obama administration is “obligated” to “Hollywood elites” like Michael Moore, George Soros, and MoveOn.org, and that’s why it’s waging war on domestic energy, Sen. James Inhofe says.
In an exclusive interview with “The Right Views,” Sen. Inhofe said that the Obama administration is beholden to “far-left extremists,” such as those in Hollywood.
“Right Views” Editor Craig Bannister: Why do you believe the Obama administration is so determined to wage war on oil and natural gas?
Sen. James Inhofe: “Oh, it’s very easy: because he’s made the commitment. You stop and think of how he got in office--it’s the far-left environmentalists.
“I can remember when the backbone--the financial backbone of the Democratic Party, in terms of elections, for-Congressional elections, was the trial lawyers. I can remember when, you know--but, clearly in the last eight, ten years, it’s been the far-left environmentalists.
“The MoveOn.orgs, the George Soros, the Michael Moores, the Hollywood elites. They’re the ones that demand extreme positions and he is obligated, obliged to them.”
Sen. Inhofe blames the “drive-by media” for covering up the destructiveness of Obama’s anti-energy policies--and misleading the public by portraying Obama as being in favor of domestic energy production:
Bannister: ... “But, don’t you see the media covering up for the Obama administration?”
Sen. Inhofe: “Yes.”
Bannister: And, promoting what Obama wants the public to believe about having an all-of-the-above energy strategy?”
Sen. Inhofe: “Yes, without question, the drive by media is so biased in his favor that they’re going to make every effort to do that.
“And a year ago they were able to do it much more than they are today because you know, of your media, of talk media, of Fox and you know, people are now waking up to the fact that - what’s referred to as the drive by media – loves Obama and wants to have him back in power.
“So, they will do all they can to cover up what he has done to the energy industry and many of the other industries here in this country. And, I don’t think they’ll get by with it.”
