Levin Wishes 'All Of Us Could Have Swiss Bank Accounts,' 'Investments In Bermuda'

July 11, 2012

Radio host Mark Levin says he wishes “all of us could have Swiss bank accounts” and “all of us could make investments in Bermuda,” and asks: “What’s the big deal?”

“See, I look at things differently,” Levin said Tuesday. “I wish we lived in a society where we could make an enormous amount of money and all of us could have Swiss bank accounts. All of us could make investments in Bermuda, or wherever the hell people put their money. Why not? What’s the big deal?

“That means you’ve made so much money, you’re so successful, that you’ve contributed mightily to economic growth in this country- to all kinds of people, all kinds of families. You’ve done something positive.

“Whereas, if you’re a drag on society, you’re a loser, you’re a taker. You create nothing, except misery. You don’t create jobs- you don’t create wealth. You’re dragging the nation back.

“But I want to make one other point. People like Obama - that is, the people on the left - they don’t think much of American sovereignty. They’re more than willing to enter into treaties whenever they can, and confer unconstitutional power on the United Nations. They talk about the importance of getting along internationally, don’t they?

“Obama runs around the world apologizing for us, bowing down to people - all kinds of stuff. They say it’s a global society, right? They’ll even use foreign law on the Supreme Court, the leftists, to interpret our Constitution.

“But never, ever, ever open a bank account in Switzerland, because that’s bad. We can sell our sovereignty down the road to any country in the world. We can confer our sovereignty onto the UN. We can do all these things in the name of international peace - ‘can’t we all get along?’ But whatever you do, don’t invest one damn nickel in a foreign account, because if you do, then you’re out of touch.”
