On today’s show Rush Limbaugh said that because the Occupy movement uses Facebook to “mobilize their protests,” they have now turned the people that they think are on their side into their enemies.

“Here’s a whole new crop of one-percenters, a whole new crop of people in the 1% bracket-the Facebook crowd-and the Occupy people are using Facebook.”

“The Occupy people are using Facebook in order to mobilize their protests and so the people they think are on their side, actually now becomes one of their enemies…they are one of the elements pushing the Facebook crowd into the 1%.”

Limbaugh was commenting on the news reported yesterday about Facebook’s IPO that is expected to create 1,000’s of new millionaires once the stock is offered on the market.  Rush said that he cannot ignore the gift that this is to the Occupy movement.  He said that what he likes about this story is that the Occupiers, in using Facebook, have actually created a new enemy.

“It’s like the chickens arranging for Colonel Sanders to be assassinated.”
