Fuel Spill Lake Huron

July 19, 2012 - 1:35 PM
Part of a 110-foot commercial dredge, the Arthur J, can still be seen above the waters of Lake Huron after it sunk about 2 miles off of Lakeport, Michigan, spilling an unknown amount of diesel fuel, early Thursday morning, July 19, 2012. The barge was carrying about 1,500 gallons of diesel fuel but it is uncertain how much escaped. St. Clair County Hazardous Material Team crews are working to contain the fuel with booms.
