Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings announces the details of the official commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy at a news conference in the Old Red Courthouse Museum in downtown Dallas, Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 20, 2012. The commemoration Nov. 22, 2013, will take place in Dealey Plaza, where Kennedy's motorcade through downtown Dallas was passing as shots rang out. The ceremony will begin at 12:25 p.m. with the tolling of church bells across the city, followed by a moment of silence at 12:30 p.m., the time of the shooting.
