HONOLULU (AP) — Four people have died in a helicopter crash on Molokai (moh-loh-KY'-ee) island in Hawaii.

Maui County spokesman Rod Antone said Thursday that four bodies have been recovered and there were five names on the flight manifest.

The crash happened on the eastern part of the island in Kilohana.

Maui County Police Lt. Wayne Ibarra says fire and police officers are on the scene.

Molokai Patrol Division Police Sgt. Randy Esperanza said Thursday the first emergency call came in at 12:14 p.m. He says it's not clear who owns the helicopter.
