(CNSNews.com)- Conservative leaders at the Faith and Freedom conference called for the repeal of President Obama’s health care law. The Obama administration is currently attempting to persuade a federal judge to throw out a lawsuit brought forth by 20 states over the individual mandate in the health care law.

“This thing is $761 billion dollars in the red in the first 10 years that it’s on the books and it only gets worse as it gets going,” said Karl Rove, former President George W. Bush’s chief of staff.

“This thing will bankrupt America if we don’t stop it. If we don’t repeal it, this thing is going to bankrupt America and we’re going to look like Greece, only on steroids without a European Union to bail us out.”

Rove went on to say that he presented the same facts from his speech before the conference to the Yale University Political Union. After making his case, Rave said Yale voted in favor of repealing the health care law. “If we can convince Yale, we can convince America,” said Rove.

The head of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, conservative activist Ralph Reed also called for the health care law to be repealed.

“No more Obamacare,” said Reed. “We’re going to see a new Congress repeal this ridiculous bureaucratic nightmare.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and Media Research Center President Brent Bozell stressed the importance of the Internet in their remarks.

“There’s going to be election after election after election this fall where with a little extra effort, a little extra donation, a little extra, a few more e-mails, a little more Twitter, a little more Youtube, a little more Facebook, we’re going to win,” said Gingrich.

Bozell encouraged the audience to apply themselves to the Internet.

“We have to be careful of those who are taking advantage of the Internet and are twisting and distorting truths,” said Bozell.

He added, “Ladies and gentlemen, apply yourselves to the Internet. If you are involved in causes on the Internet, make them as thorough and as professional as you can. Do not let the left distort what it is you’re saying. Do not let them put their moles inside of your web sites and put in their common pages the kind of things that just do so much damage. Fight against it. This side, that side plays dirty. Never ever lower yourself to their level.”
