(CNSNews.com) -  Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson says he was "saved" after he had a dream in which "Jesus came into the room and he was just basically knocking on my door saying, ‘Hey you need to find out more about me.’"

This past October, long before they knew they would be playing in the Super Bowl, a group of four Seattle Seahawks players and two coaches put together a video titled “The Making of a Champion”.

In the video Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson discusses a dream he had when he was 14 years old.

“I had a dream one night I was at UVA football camp,” Wilson says, “I had a dream that my dad passed away and that Jesus came into the room and he was just basically knocking on my door saying: ‘Hey, you need to find out more about me.’ So that Sunday morning I ended up going to church and that’s when I got saved.”

Later in the video Wilson adds, “I realized that God had given me so many talents that I wanted to give him all the glory.”

Wilson’s story is told along with other Seattle players and coaches sharing tales of their faith journeys and experiences.

The video was released in October in conjunction with a Twitter account and website that assists Washington state residents in locating a church.

The Twitter account features a tweet that says, “Thank you for all the support you have given #moac we are excited for what God is doing on the Seahawks team! Super Bowl here we come!”
