French lawyer seeks potential Strauss-Kahn victims
PARIS (AP) — A French attorney says he is looking for other persons allegedly sexually abused by the former leader of the IMF Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
Strauss-Kahn was arrested in mid-May and charged with assaulting a hotel maid at a New York hotel. He denies the charges.
Thibault de Montbrial said Thursday he's been asked by the maid's U.S. lawyer "to see if there are other victims" in France.
A French journalist claims she was assaulted by Strauss-Kahn in 2002 but her lawyer says she won't become involved in the U.S. case.
Strauss-Kahn, who is French, is under house arrest at a luxury Manhattan rental.
