ADDU, Maldives (AP) — Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says the time has come to write a new chapter in relations with rival Pakistan.

Singh and Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met for nearly an hour Thursday at a meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation in the Maldives.

The two leaders said they discussed the dicey issues of border disagreements, terror, trade and the disputed territory of Kashmir.
