ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Lightning has struck three workers at an unfinished casino project in Atlantic City, N.J., killing one of them.

Revel Entertainment LLC confirmed the death Thursday afternoon. It says the two other workers at the Revel casino project were injured.

Authorities say the workers were finishing concrete when they were struck by lightning during a fierce thunderstorm.

City emergency management director Tom Foley says the men were working on the seventh floor of the 48-story project at the time.

The Revel casino is 710 feet tall, making it the second-tallest building in the state after the Goldman Sachs building in Jersey City.
