TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a passenger they say had a knife in his carry-on bag at Tampa International Airport in Florida.

The knife was discovered by Transportation Security Administration workers early Sunday morning. The man, who has not yet been identified, was about to board American Airlines flight 2185 to Cancun, Mexico, with a stop in Miami.

No further details were immediately available. Airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan says a police report is expected to be released later in the day.
