Md. psychiatrist, teen son dead in murder-suicide
WASHINGTON (AP) — Police in Maryland say a psychiatrist specializing in women's health and her 13-year-old son are dead in a likely murder-suicide.
Officers on Tuesday afternoon found the bodies of 54-year-old Margaret Ferne Jensvold and Benjamin Barnhard in Kensington, a Washington suburb. Police responded to after one of Jensvold's co-workers reported being unable to contact her.
Police say both Jensvold and her son had signs of trauma to their bodies. They were found in their respective bedrooms.
The boy's father says his only son was a nice child and that he had no indication of any problems between his son and ex-wife.
