(CNSNews.com) - MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell alleges that a Newsweek magazine author sold out for ‘the money’ to do an article on Sarah Palin and the magazine made ‘promises’ in giving her a cover article.
“We’ve all done things for money. This week it was his turn,” O’Donnell said in reference to author Peter Boyer on ‘The Last Word’ program Monday night.
O’Donnell also quoted Palin in the Newsweek article in making his argument, “’The mainstream press is becoming less and less relevant,’ she said. Adding that she would have no hesitation in shunning media outlets she does not trust. ‘I would say no to those who have lied about me. There is no need to reward bad behavior. I`ve learned. You know, once bitten, twice shy. I have learned.’”
“There’s Newsweek telling you that she would have no hesitation in shunning media outlets she does not trust. That means Newsweek had to make promises to her to get her trust,” O’Donnell added.
The latest issue of Newsweek has a picture of Sarah Palin on the cover featuring the quote 'I Can Win'.
