ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a JetBlue flight from New York City to Salt Lake City had to make an emergency landing in upstate New York after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.

The Monroe County Sheriff's office tells Rochester broadcast media outlets that the plane carrying 139 people landed safely at the Greater Rochester International Airport around 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

No other information was available. A call to the airport director's office wasn't returned Monday morning.
