Obama Focusing on Education, Meeting With Gen. Petraeus on Monday
Washington (AP) - President Barack Obama is pressing his education initiatives at home while discussing Arab world instability with the visiting prime minster of Denmark.
Obama travels across the Potomac River to suburban Virginia for a Monday morning speech on revamping education. The administration is pushing for an overhaul of the No Child Left Behind Act that was passed during the Bush administration.
In the afternoon, the president hosts Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen for White House talks and will meet later with Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of allied forces in Afghanistan.
