Oregon Terror Suspect Indicted in Car Bomb Plot

Portland, Ore. (AP) - A federal grand jury has indicted a Somali-American man in an alleged plot to blow up a car bomb at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, Ore.
The indictment filed Monday charges 19-year-old Mohamed Osman Mohamud with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.
The teen was arrested Friday evening in an FBI sting operation that followed months of investigation.
Mohamud was due in federal court for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
