FORT PIERCE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a boy has been found dead aboard a school bus after a collision with a semi-truck in Florida.

Officials say 14 other students and the bus driver were injured in the crash Monday afternoon near an elementary school in Florida's St. Lucie County. Three of the injured students were airlifted to a trauma center. The others were taken for medical care in ambulances.

Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers (http://bit.ly/GTf1xB) reports the bus was carrying about 30 students. The Florida Highway Patrol said the bus was making a left turn when it was hit by the oncoming semi-truck. Reports indicate the impact spun the yellow school bus around and overturned the truck, whose driver declined treatment.

Parents picked up uninjured students at the county's emergency operations center.
