BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say they have arrested an illegal immigrant wanted in a triple homicide in Guatemala.
Bensalem Township police say officers and an FBI task force apprehended 26-year-old Neftaci De Jesus Ortega without incident on homicide charges at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the FBI Bucks County Violent Gang Task Force had been following up leads to find Ortega.
Police said Ortega is accused in Guatemala of having gunned down a father, mother and a child who was 8 to 11 years old in March.
Authorities said a second child was injured but survived by pretending to be dead.
Authorities said Ortega was in the United States illegally and will be deported to Guatemala. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
