Refinery blast kills 19 in Venezuela, dozens hurt

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — A state governor in Venezuela says the death toll from an explosion at the country's biggest oil refinery has risen to 19.

Falcon state Gov. Stella Lugo says the victims include a 10-year-old boy and that at least 53 people are injured after the blast at the Amuay refinery early Saturday.
