SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — Arraignment of the suspect in the Seal Beach, Calif., hair salon massacre has been postponed.
Scott Dekraai was to have been arraigned in Orange County Superior Court Friday afternoon but the proceeding was continued to Nov. 29.
Dekraai has been charged with eight counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty if he is convicted.
Dekraai is accused of opening fire Wednesday in the salon where his ex-wife worked. They were in a bitter custody battle over their young son.
Dekraai's former wife was among those killed.
