Suspicious package probed on Biden brother's road
OCEAN RIDGE, Fla. (AP) — The FBI is investigating a suspicious package containing a powdery substance that was delivered to a home on a Florida street where Vice President Joe Biden's brother lives.
The Sun Sentinel reported on its website Saturday night (http://sunsent.nl/n5uCeX ) that two residents of Ridge Boulevard in Ocean Ridge were taken to the hospital that afternoon as a precaution after the package was delivered to their home. It was not clear if Francis Biden was affected, though the registered Florida lobbyist lists the short street as his home address.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office bomb squad determined the package was not explosive. It was taken to Miami for FBI lab testing. The FBI issued a statement saying, "Preliminary tests indicate the contents of the package were deemed not to be threatening in nature."
