Threat forces United flight to divert Chicago
CHICAGO (AP) — A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Frankfurt, Germany, has been diverted to Chicago after a threat was found in a bathroom.
WGN-TV reports Flight 926 landed at O'Hare International Airport about 1 a.m. Sunday. A United spokesman told the station the flight was searched, cleared and allowed to continue on to Germany.
The station says crew members found a sticker with a threatening message in a bathroom on the plane.
A message The Associated Press left with United was not immediately returned.
