SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Yemeni government officials say President Ali Abdullah Saleh has been discharged from a hospital in Saudi Arabia, but will remain in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

The officials say Saleh, who was badly burned in the June 3 attack on his compound in the Yemeni capital, left the hospital in Riyadh on Saturday night and moved to a royal residence in the city to further recuperate.

The officials spoke Sunday on condition of anonymity because they are not allowed to brief the press.
