LAS VEGAS (AP) — Allegiant Air officials say a plane leaving Kansas for Las Vegas skidded off the taxiway because of weather conditions.

There were 161 passengers and six crew members on board. Allegiant says no one was injured in the Sunday night incident.

Allegiant says Flight 405 left the gate at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport at 11:23 p.m., but weather conditions became significantly worse as it was taxiing.

The aircraft came to rest with part of the landing gear off the tarmac.

Passengers were taken to local hotels. Allegiant says it will offer them $100 off vouchers for future travel.

Flight 405 has been rescheduled to Monday afternoon. Passengers will also be able to change their reservations to another flight with no additional fee or cancel their flight for a full refund.
