Levin Calls Anti-Romney Ad Example Of 'Poisonous, Personal Character Assassination'

August 8, 2012 - 11:20 AM

Last night, radio host Mark Levin said,” [President Obama] is a complete empty suit.”

Discussing a recent Obama Super PAC ad that implied Mitt Romney was responsible for a man’s wife dying of cancer after Bain Capital closed a steel plant in Missouri, Levin said:

“Are there no limits on this President’s loathsome conduct? I don’t know how else to put it. In every race that he’s run for public office, he’s used tactics like this - vicious, poisonous, personal character assassination. This is what he does.

“Do you want to know why? Because the man is an empty suit. He’s not qualified to be a State Senator, he’s not qualified to be a US Senator, he’s not qualified to be President of the United States. He’s an empty suit; he brings nothing to the table.

“Other than running for office, destroying his opponents, and winning elections, he’s accomplished nothing in this society as a citizen of this society. Nothing.

“I’m going to state right now that he was a poor student. That’s why we don’t have his transcripts. I’m going to state right now that something is wrong with the way he was accepted to one or two of these universities, because he continues to conceal it.

“This is not a man who’s proud of his college experience, proud of his law school experience.  He wants to tell you that he was Phi Beta Kappa, he got all these great grades, that he got into school based on merit and scholarship. Those words have never crossed his mouth because it never happened.

“These are big gaps in his magnificent fictions that he calls autobiographies. Memoirs. This guy is a complete empty suit.”
