62 Teens Arrested After Senior Prank

The senior prank is a tradition at many American high schools in which graduating seniors lovingly punk their teachers or, sometimes, the entire school.

The pranks are often quite elaborate and clever. But, it appears that seniors at Teaneck High School in New Jersey, weren't preoccupied with creativity.

They, basically, just destroyed the school.

Police arrived at the school at 2:30 am, Thursday morning to find significant damage throughout the school including desks flipped over, graffiti on the walls and urine in the schools hallways.

Police, clearly, didn't find the prank as funny as the students did and arrested 62 of them.

While 38 of the students taken into custody were under the age of 18, Teaneck Police Sergeant, John Garland was shocked by the amount of damage they were able to do.

"I've been a police officer for 19 years and this is the craziest thing I've ever seen," he told reporters.

While 62 students were arrested in the incident, many ran away, so authorities are unable to determine how many students participated in the prank.

"They're all in some serious trouble," said Garland.
