Gaborik adds scoring to LA Kings' playoff plans

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — Marian Gaborik's new teammates with the Los Angeles Kings initially wondered whether such a talented goal-scorer could fit into a defense-dominated team when he arrived in a trade last month.

Nobody is wondering anymore after Gaborik helped the Kings reach the postseason on a roll.

A good read: Bucks' Udoh draws fans for book club

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Epke Udoh will leave one positive lasting impression from this dreary season for the Milwaukee Bucks, and it has nothing to do with basketball.

Few, if any, NBA players can say they've started a book club over Twitter. Fewer still probably cite entertainment magnate Oprah Winfrey as a role model.

Michigan losing Stauskas and Robinson to NBA

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan sophomores Nik Stauskas and Glen Robinson III have decided to enter the NBA draft.

They made the announcement Tuesday.

Mitch McGary has not decided if he will stay in school or go pro. McGary was not made available for interviews after his teammates had a news conference.
