House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), speaking at the National Journal's meeting of Women 2020, said that a congressman once declared on the House floor: "Nancy Pelosi thinks she knows more about having babies than the Pope," to which Pelosi replied, "Yes, I do."
