Quinnipiac Poll: Biden's Job Approval at 33%

(CNS News) -- A new Quinnipiac University national poll shows that only 33% of Americans approve of how Joe Biden is handling his job as president, while 54% disapprove.

In addition, 74% of Americans think the worst is yet to come in the Russia-Ukraine war, while only 11%think we've seen the worst of the war.

In the survey of 1,412 U.S. adults nationwide, April 7-11, Quinnipiac asked, "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Joe Biden is handling his job as president?"

In response, 33% said they approve and 54% said they disapprove of Biden's job performance. Another 13% did not know or did not provide an answer.

"Biden's 33% job approval ties the low that he received in a Quinnipiac University poll on January 12, 2022 when his job approval rating was a negative 33-53%," said the polling group.

In addition, "[a]mong registered voters, 35% approve of Biden's job performance, while 55% disapprove with 10% not offering an opinion," said Quinnipiac.  "Biden's 35% job approval among registered voters ties the low that he received in a Quinnipiac University poll on January 12, 2022 when his job approval rating was a negative 35 - 54 percent."

Quinnipiac also asked, "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Joe Biden is handling the response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine?"

In response, 39% said they approve and 48% said they disapprove. Another 14% said they did not know or did not provide an answer.
