When it comes to the border crisis, Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) says that President Joe Biden is knowingly “facilitating the multi-billion dollar business model of some of the most evil people on the planet.”

In an interview Monday with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity, Sen. Johnson said that Pres. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are well aware of inhumane treatment of illegal immigrants by the human trafficking industry:

“As you’re pointing out, the human depredation, the inhumanity of those individuals that are in the hands of human traffickers, the sex slaves, the involuntary servitude – Biden knows all these things.

“And yet he’s still, basically, facilitating that evil business model of, you know, multi-billion-dollar business model of some of the most evil people on the planet. That’s what Kalama Harris, that’s what Joe Biden are facilitating, and with full knowledge.”

U.S. border agents are arresting about six thousand illegal immigrants per day, Sen. Johnson told Hannity:

“Well, we need to just press, press, push back on it. But, yeah, you know Sean, we’ve over the last three months, we’ve apprehended about six thousand people per day. Each and every day for the last three months. And, we have probably about a thousand, God, ways that we know about. We don’t know how many other people get away.”

As The New York Post reports, the border crisis is continuing to worsen with each passing month:

“In January 2021, the CBP [U.S. Customs and Border Protection] took 78,442 migrants into custody. In February, the figure climbed to 100,441. Then came the real spikes. In March, there were 173,337; in April, 178,854; May, 180,034. These astronomical numbers represent a massive increase in the number of migrants coming in over previous years.”

The concern is so great that governors from non-border states, such as Florida and Nebraska, are sending state patrol troopers to Texas to make up for the federal government’s lack of support of the Lone Star State’s efforts to secure its border from the overwhelming surge of immigrants.

“Nebraska is stepping up to help Texas respond to the ongoing crisis on their border with Mexico,” Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts (R) announced in a statement released on Friday:

“The disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris Administration created an immigration crisis on the border.  While the federal government has fallen short in its response, Nebraska is happy to step up to provide assistance to Texas as they work to protect their communities and keep people safe.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) has issued a disaster declaration along Texas' southern border in response to the border crisis.
