Did you ever wonder why a nation so rich in energy resources, with proven reserves of crude oil and natural gas, would spend trillions of dollars buying petroleum from countries that hate everything we stand for, knowing that every dollar we send to them strengthens them and weakens us and at the same time, turns down a reliable supply of oil from Canada, our best friend in the world?

Why has the education of the children, who are America's future, been put in the hands of a self-serving, politically motivated teacher's union, which, by its own admission, cannot stand up to the testing it would require to certify that their members are even qualified to teach in the first place?

Why is the supply and flow of our currency controlled by one man, who at his whim can strangle the amount of money in circulation or flood the world with cheap dollars at the very real danger of devaluing the dollar and bringing on hyperinflation?

Why is Europe still whipping the dead horse of socialism when it has been proven over and over again that it's a flawed and ruinous system?

Why do some of the mineral richest nations on the planet have the worst poverty on the planet?

Why are our southern borders basically open to anybody who wants to walk across them and why is it discrimination to require valid identification to vote, when you can't even check into a hotel room without it?

Why is parental permission required to give a teenaged girl an aspirin but an abortion can be performed on her body without even consulting the parents?

How would a carbon tax reduce the amount of C02 on earth when it doesn't actually deal with emissions but only charges for the privilege of emitting them?

How can a president run so much of the nation's business with unelected czars and enact so much legislation by presidential fiat?

Why are the anti-God people so intent on removing every vestige of God and Jesus Christ from public view?

Do you really believe that a relatively small group of environmentalists could prevent an energy-starved superpower from harvesting its own resources?

Why would a nation that has been sovereign and free for over two centuries even consider signing a treaty giving up control of our constitutional freedoms to a bungling, corrupt, anti-American gaggle of clowns like the United Nations?

In my humble opinion it all has to do with the creation of a one world government, which cannot be done while there are sovereign, independent nations like America which treasure personal freedom and "cling to guns or religion."

We are the flies in their collective ointment; most of the rest of the world has already succumbed to socialism or dictatorship, given up their guns and much of their independence, and now they're coming after us with an unholy vengeance.

The early Roman emperors kept the population happy with "bread and circuses." In other words, as long as the Romans were fed and entertained they were easy to manage and the current state of our entitlement society and the loose morality of television and other entertainment speak to that same philosophy.

The dumbing down of America is no longer some far-fetched cliché or editorial slogan it is here, it is now and it is pervasive.

Poorly educated, unemployable people are easy to lead and their expectations are so low they'll swallow just about anything they're fed as long as the monthly checks keep coming and the garbage keeps oozing out of the TV.

Global warming, or whatever ridiculous name they're calling it this week, is nothing more than an international effort at income redistribution. You tax the affluent manufacturing nations and pass it on to the backward non-productive ones.

There has already been a treaty presented by the United Nations to control our guns in this country. It was voted down by the Senate, but they'll be back again and again until a Senate is elected who will ratify it and the confiscation of firearms will begin, because they know that an armed country is not easy to take over.

Does this all sound fantastic and over-the-top to you?

Do you really think America can tax and spend its way out of the fiscal debacle we are in?

Do you think that teachers’ unions really have the interests of the children first and foremost in their minds and hearts?

Do you really think America is a better country for having visible signs of God taken out of sight?

Do you really believe that the nation is better off buying oil from the Middle East than producing our own?

Do you think an unarmed nation would be a safer place?

Do you think the United Nations should have control of national parks and federal environmental reserves in this nation?

Do you think a president should have the right to bypass a duly elected Congress and Senate and institute policy on his own?

Do you think you should not have any say in what your child is taught?

If you answered “no” to the questions I've posed above and were unaware of the validity of the subjects they broach, maybe you'd better start paying more attention to what's going on around you, because it's all about power, power that's being taken away from you and given to politicians who will in turn eventually hand it over to an organization of the world's elite whose sole purpose in life is the institution of a one world central government. And friends, it's getting a lot closer than you think and could happen so fast it could make your head spin.

Every time a president, be he Democrat or Republican, bypasses Congress and institutes a new rule or policy on his own, you lose freedom.

Every time Congress passes another stupid industry-killing regulation and another company moves out of America, you lose freedom.

When the government supports a union that protects inept teachers, you lose freedom.

Every time the Fed prints money that has nothing to underpin it, you lose freedom.

I believe there are people in this world who are standing in the shadows pulling strings on their puppets, powerful people who control international finance, industry, media and governments, unscrupulous, unprincipled, inhumane people who have succumbed to Satan’s most effective lure, power.

The kind of power that can rule a planet.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops, and for our country.

God Bless America
