“America is tired of woke,” conservative commentator Candace Owens declared late Tuesday night as Virginia Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the state’s race for governor.

In a trio of tweets, Owens began with a sarcastic post, mocking Democrats’ public school policies that have infuriated parents nationwide:

“I’m very surprised to learn that classifying parents as domestic terrorists for not wanting their children to learn racist and pornographic material in school is not a winning election strategy. Who knew.”

Owens then noted examples of the failure of liberal “woke” ideology, ranging from Major League Baseball’s political activism to New Jersey Democrats’ push to increase taxes:

“Democrats went woke against parents in Virginia—parents won.

“MLB went woke against Atlanta—Atlanta won.

“Democrats went woke against the taxpayers in New Jersey— and it isn’t looking good.

“America is tired of woke.”

Responding to news that the CDC has endorsed COVID vaccine injections for 5-11 year-old kids, Owens urged the CDC to continue its dictatorial exploitation of the pandemic – because it attracts support for Republicans:

“Keep it coming @CDCgov. You have been great for the Republican Party. Lockdowns, mandates, and force vaxxing minor children is a great slogan for the Democrat party.”
