Fox News host Greta Van Susteren is calling for a boycott of this year’s Radio and Television Correspondents Association Dinner because the headlining "comedian" is a “pig” who denigrates all women – not just Sarah Palin.
“The headliner of this year’s Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner is “comedian” Louis C.K. Comedian? I don’t think so. Pig? Yes,” Van Susteren writes.
Van Susteren says she’s not going, and calls her fellow journalist to shun the event:
“I refuse to go to the Radio and Television Correspondents Association Dinner – no one should go.” “Everyone in the media should join me in this boycott,” she says.
Van Susteren cites Louis C.K.’s “filthy language about women” in which he uses “the C word” referring to Sarah Palin - and then “looks to the crowd to laugh.”
“It isn’t just Governor Palin he denigrates. He denigrates all women and looks to the crowd to laugh,” Van Susteren says.
Van Susteren also blasts the Television Correspondents Association Dinner Committee for hiring such a foul-mouthed denigrater of women.: “I think the organization that hired him is just as bad as he is.”
I'd never heard of this "comedian" before today. But, after listening to this vulgar, misogynistic, rant by Louis C.K. - in which he refers to Sarah Palin's "retard-making c***" - I say, "Good for Greta."
Update: FoxNation is reporting that Louis C.K. has been dropped from the menu at the correspondents' dinner. That doesn't make the choice of this "comedian" any less offensive - but, at least they came to their senses.
