A self-professed illegal alien who spoke at today's "Campaign for Citizenship" event tells MRCTV that, after 20 years of hiding, she's now "safe" to admit her status publicly.

Alejandra Gomez, a "DREAMer" who addressed the media at the PICO Network-sponsored event, told MRCTV that she's been in the U.S. illegally for "about 20 years now."

Gomez says she finally feels free to go public with her status, thanks to "Obama's law," the deferred action policy:

MRCTV: "Aren't you concerned that, by coming out publicly in a forum like this as an illegal immigrant, that you will be deported yourself?"

GOMEZ: "Back then I used to be afraid. I didn't tell people that I was undocumented. Ever since the law passed, Obama's law, the deferred action policy, I've been feeling safe and that's when I opened to people because we're safe."
