Nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin said that he “will never forgive” Congress for allowing President Obama to disregard U.S. law in his nuclear deal with Iran.
The United Nations’ Security Council unanimously endorsed the deal Monday morning, the same day Congress’ 60-day review period was supposed to begin.
“You have nowhere to go, Congress,” Levin said on his July 17 broadcast. “And they have nowhere to go because they did this to themselves. And I will never forgive them for it, ever.
"Never!” he added.
Here is the full transcript of what Levin said:
“So the UN Security Council is going to embrace, adopt this deal before the United States Congress has even had an opportunity to hold hearings and debate it on the floor. And way before they’ve even had an opportunity to vote on it.
“Because what Obama’s doing now is he’s saying, ‘Hey, look! It’s part of our international agreement. You can’t undo this. You can’t undo this. You already agreed it’s not a treaty, so I cut a deal with the UN Security Council.
“‘I’m the President of the United States. This is what we’re going to do. All these other countries agree. You can’t undo this. So have your stupid vote, have your stupid debate, waste your stupid time, Republicans.
“‘Don’t worry about it. Doesn’t matter if you know what’s in it. Doesn’t matter if you understand it.
“‘I, Barack Milhous Obama -- I understand what’s in it. So does dummy mashed potato face, aka. John ‘B-student’ Kerry -- he knows what’s in it. If he doesn’t, his staff does. If I don’t, my staff does.
“‘You’re irrelevant, Senate, House, Constitution, Rule of Law.
“‘I, Barack Milhous Obama -- I have declared that this will be the law of the land. And that’s it. Now what are you gonna do about it? Run it all the way up to the Supreme Court, where Anthony Kennedy and John Roberts will support me? You have nowhere to go, Congress.’
“And they have nowhere to go because they did this to themselves. And I will never forgive them for it, ever.
