( – CBS’s The Big Bang Theory focused on the pregnancy of one of their characters in the latest episode on April 7, which featured the new parents listening to the unborn baby’s heartbeat and calling the unborn baby a “person.”

Addressing pregnancy in a way that might astonish some abortion advocates, a friend of the couple exclaims when they hear the unborn child’s heartbeat, “You guys made a person!”

“We did,” the unborn baby’s father, Howard, agrees.

Hillary Clinton came under fire last week for using the same terminology as the popular sitcom -- referring to the unborn child as a “person.”

“The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights,” Clinton said on NBC’s Meet the Press.

“That doesn’t mean that we don’t do everything we possibly can, in the vast majority of instances to, you know, help a mother who is carrying a child and wants to make sure that child will be healthy, to have appropriate medical support,” Clinton added.

“Hillary Clinton further stigmatizes abortion,” Diana Arellano, a community engagement manager for Planned Parenthood of Illinois tweeted following Clinton’s remarks. “She calls a fetus an ‘unborn child’ and calls for later-term restrictions.”

NARAL Pro-Choice America has slammed advertising in the past for “humanizing fetuses,” reacting to a Super Bowl Doritos ad that featured an unborn baby in an ultrasound reacting to outside stimuli.
