James Woods Blasts Media's 'Blatant HYPOCRISY': 'Okay to #PrayForParis, Not USA'

Actor James Woods has noticed a double standard at the New York Daily News.

When a recent mass shooting in Paris inspired the Twitter hashtag #PrayForParis, it was favorably covered by the Daily News.

However, after a December 2 shooting in San Bernadino, California, the Daily News ran a headline saying "GOD ISN'T FIXING THIS."  While the coverage of the #PrayForParis campaign was positive, the December 3 cover story was critical of politicians who are praying for the California victims, the Daily News arguing that "cowards who could truly end gun scourge continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes."

Woods tweeted: "Blatant HYPOCRISY in NY Daily News proves once again why American journalism is dead. Okay to #PrayForParis, not USA."
