Former child star Drake Bell, who played on the Nickelodeon TV show “Drake and Josh,” is under fire for a so-called transphobic tweet about the woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

Jenner, who announced this year that he is a transgender woman, revealed himself on Monday in a Vanity Fair cover as a woman named Caitlyn.

“Sorry...still calling you Bruce,” Bell tweeted.

“Just lost all respect for you,” one Twitter follower said, according to CNN.

“Sorry, still calling you bankrupt,” another Twitter follower tweeted, in reference to Bell’s 2014 bankruptcy filing.

“I'm not dissing him! I just don't want to forget his legacy!" Bell tweeted after deleting his original tweet.  "He is the greatest athlete of all time! Chill out!"

Bell later deleted those tweets as well.
