In criticizing President Barack Obama's nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said the plan was "idiotic" and essentially allows Obama to "take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven,” a reference to the Holocaust.
"The president's foreign policy is the most feckless in American history," Huckabee told Breitbart News Saturday host Alexander Marlow on July 25. "It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians."
"By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven," said Huckabee, who is also an ordained Baptist minister.
"This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal," he said. " It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people."
"I read the whole deal," said Huckabee. "We gave away the whole store. It’s got to be stopped.”
The Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to the destruction of the State of Israel and has said so on numerous occasions. Last November, the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said the "barbaric" Jewish state of Israel "has no cure but to be annihilated," and gave nine reasons for Israel's destruction.
Iranian general and Deputy Chief of Staff Mohammed Hejazi said in 2013 that, "if Israel acts foolishly, Tel Aviv and Haifa will be annihilated. ... The armed forces are prepared with all their power to execute the orders of the Supreme Leader [Khamenei] in minimum time."
Iran's Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani said in 2013, "the first option on our table is the annihilation of Israel."
Khamenei's representative in the Iranian army, Hojatoleslam Ali Shirazi said, "The Zionist regime will soone be destroyed, and this generation will be witness to its destruction.
Hojatelesam Alireza Panahian, who is an adviser to Khamenei in the Iranian universities, said, "The day will come when the Islamic people in the region will destroy Israel and save the world from this Zionist base."

“Every Muslim who does not want to fight Israel is violating religious law and essentially forgetting Israel’s crimes over the past 60 years on Islamic soil," said Mohammad Dehghan,
a member of the Majlis Executive Committee.
Ahmad Alamolhada, a mamber of Iran's Assembly of Experts, said, “The destruction of Israel is the idea of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and is one of the pillars of the Iranian Islamic regime. We cannot claim that we have no intention of going to war with Israel!”
Iranian State Television even broadcast a simulated missile attack on the State of Israel. See video here.
In a July 27 post on Facebook, Governor Huckabee said President Obama "does not take Iran's repeated threats seriously. For decades, Iranian leaders have pledged to 'destroy,' 'annihilate,' and wipe Israel off the map' with a 'big Holocaust.'"
During the Holocaust, perpetrated by the Nazi regime and assited by some of its allies, an estimated 6 million Jews were deliberately killed for racial and political reasons. There were labor/concentration camps, as well as extermination camps. In the latter, which included Auschwitz, Chelmno, Sobibor and Treblinka, the Nazis had systematic killing processes in place, such as poison gas showers and gas chambers. There also were crematoria to burn the bodies of the victims.
Although Jews were the primary targets of the Nazis at the death camps, millions of non-Jews were also killed, an estimated 5 million additional victims in various camps and circumstances, according to the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
Michael Dale “Mike” Huckabee, 59, is married and has four children. In addition to his political career and work as a Christian minister, Huckabee has written several books, including the 2008 New York Times best seller Do The Right Thing: Inside The Movement That’s Bringing Common Sense Back to America. His latest book is God, Guns, Grits and Gravy.
