Levin: Conservatives Must Become ‘Most Effective Group of Activists the World Has Ever Seen’

On Thursday, Nationally syndicated radio show host Mark Levin urged conservatives to become activists and fight for the country and society.

“We conservatives have to become the largest and most effective group of activists this world has ever seen, or we will not get our country back,” Levin said. “We have got to defend what’s left of the civil society, or we will not get our society back. We are being attacked on all fronts, including from within the conservative movement.”

Here is a transcript of what Levin said:

“We conservatives have to become the largest and most effective group of activists this world has ever seen, or we will not get our country back. We have got to defend what’s left of the civil society, or we will not get our society back. We are being attacked on all fronts, including from within the conservative movement.

“The whole immigration system has been destroyed in order to change the nation from within. And they brag about it with a man who’s the most popular Latino mouthpiece, Jorge Ramos, who brags about it -- who brags he’s a dual citizen, brags he votes in two countries. So he can’t possibly have allegiance to two countries, and it’s obvious he doesn’t have allegiance to ours, in my humble opinion, based on that fact alone.

“We have a phony environmental system now, where regulations are pushed out so fast, nobody can possibly know what they are, and yet they destroy livelihoods; they destroy industries; they destroy the country.

“We have such massive debt, that I’m telling you now, I don’t know how we come out from under. And yet, they’re gonna lift the debt ceiling in September, both parties. Obama wants to spend more than ever before, except on the military, which he seeks to gut because America’s no good you see, because America’s a colonial, imperial power, and Obama doesn’t care if we become a second class or third class country.

“Yes, we have every right to object. We have every right to say no. We have every right to be resolute. And it’s about damn time.

“And it’s about damn time that we support those people, those few, so far, who righteously and, in my view, legitimately disobey, not violently -- they’re not harming anybody else -- but to say no to a tyrannical judiciary, a district court judge who didn’t’ have to do what he did, to say no to that judge, to be marched off in handcuffs by U.S. marshals and sent to jail because you’re standing up for your faith, and against a judge, a judge who was issuing an order to support a Supreme Court decision that tens of millions of Americans can never support, that an oppressive and tyrannical Court, five justices, imposed on the American people throwing out every state Constitution, every state statute, every state voter initiative, because four leftist judges and Anthony Kennedy decided that their position was more important than every other position in the country.

“Now, I ask you to look at your Constitution and tell me where that kind of authority is granted to any Court, where that kind of authority is granted to any judge or justice. We are in a post-constitutional period, and I predict, not because I’m in the prediction business, but I see it, more and more disobedience, lawful, prudential, civil disobedience by people of faith, and others, because of what these five justices did. And I see it spreading over time.”
