Armed Homeowner Stops Armed Home Invaders

"Unfortunately for them, he had a pistol," Stanley Short said of the burglars who invaded his neighbor's house.

According to CBS Atlanta, a homeowner returned to his house last week to find three men ransacking it. The homeowner fired his gun at the intruders who then fled out of a window.

"It's been a rash of break-ins in the neighborhood" Mr. Short claimed. A gun was reportedly found by the window the burglars escaped out of. Neighbors told CBS Atlanta, but police have yet to confirm, that a man found dead nearby was one of the armed robbers.

There are no reports of any injuries to the homeowner. If all the reported facts are true, then it seems that another responsibly armed citizen has defended his life, his property, and the lives of his loved ones from those who wish to take all three by force. Hopefully, this story will serve as a warning to those who think they can victimize others and reinforcement for those who choose to responsibly arm themselves.
