(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Ilhan Omar (D.-Minn.) sent out a tweet on Saturday drawing attention to a New York Times/Siena College Research Institute poll that showed former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of President Donald Trump 50 percent to 41 percent among likely voters in Minnesota.

“You love to see it,” Omar said with an emoji of a laughing face with tears in its eyes.

“The republicans cacophony on hate against me, their desperate messages of xenophobia and fear might be self defeating,” she said.

“9 point lead in MN and more importantly 26 point lead in TC [Twin Cities] suburbs,” said Omar.

Dems’ power in MN flows through CD5 [Congressional District 5], bc we organize,” she said. “We got this.”

Omar represents Minnesota’s Congressional District 5.

Her tweet included a link to the New York Times/Siena poll.
