White Lesbian Upset after Being Inseminated With Sperm from Black Man

An Ohio woman is suing a sperm bank after she was accidentally sent semen from a black donor when she specifically ordered white guy semen.

Jennifer Cramblett, who happens to be a lesbian, claims that she is happy with her half-black child, Payton, who is now 2 years old, but specifically ordered sperm from a white donor so that the child would not have to put up with racial discrimination when it got older.

In her lawsuit Cramblett claims that Uniontown, Ohio, in which she resides, is “racially intolerant.”

Her lawyer, Tom Intilli, told NBC News that not all of her family members are racially sensitive and that the mistake was “unimaginable.”   He also claimed that the child had already begun to experience racism from members of the Uniontown community.

"Not all of it is overt," he said. "Some of it is the looks on people’s faces. Lines of communication once open to her from friends and families are diminishing."

The website for the Midwest Sperm Bank promises “the highest standards of quality control.”  Obviously in this case something went terribly wrong.

Apparently several of the vials were mixed up prior to delivery and Cramblett discovered this when her partner, Amanda ordered more sperm in order to inseminate herself so as to provide a sibling for Payton.

After Cramblett discovered what had happened, Intilli claims that the sperm bank cut off contact with her and only sent her an apology note and a refund for the incorrect vials of sperm.

Obviously Cramblett and her legal team don’t think this was a satisfactory response to such an egregious error.

"They've made the one mistake a sperm bank can't make. It's not like she was ordering pizza," said Intilli.

Cramblett is suing Midwest Sperm Bank for enough restitution to allow her and Payton to move to a more diverse area.

The lawsuit specifically cites the difficulty that Cramblett’s daughter has when it comes to getting a haircut in her current neighborhood where the population is 98% white.

"Getting a young daughter's hair cut is not particularly stressful for most mothers, but to Jennifer it is not a routine matter, because Payton has hair typical of an African American girl," the suit says. "To get a decent cut, Jennifer must travel to a black neighborhood, far from where she lives, where she is obviously different in appearance, and not overtly welcome."

Clearly there are a lot of angles to this story.  Is Uniontown really racist, or is Cramblett racist for being so disappointed with her bi-racial baby?  Can lesbians even be racist? Did the sperm bank intentionally give the wrong sperm to Cramblett because they were homophobic?

Whatever happens, the politically correct crowd is going to be pulling their hair out trying to figure out which side to take in this debacle.

Editor's Add-On: Isn't it stereotyping to refer to "hair typical of an African American" and having to go to "a black neighborhood"?
