Did Divine Intervention Save This Man From The Flames?

A Roswell, New Mexico man says the Lord appeared to him telling him to get up and out of his home moments before it went up in flames.

“It had to be the Lord that woke me up and told me to get up, get up and get out,” said Christopher Hicks told KRQE-TV.

Hicks and his 18-year-old daughter were asleep inside their home late last month, when fire broke out.

According to KRQE-TV, Hicks says he was woken up by a figure telling him to get out.

“When I finally woke up I looked at my bedroom door which was closed and there was a figure standing there,” he said.

Local fire officials claim no one ever went inside Hick’s room.

“The fire chief even told me yesterday he does not even understand or believe how I made it out of there,” said Hicks.

Hicks thanks the Lord that he and his daughter didn’t suffer any injuries.

“I strongly believe that he saved me yesterday,” he said. “There is no other explanation for me.”
