(CNSNews.com) - “President Obama has disqualified himself and shown himself incapable of being our commander-in-chief,” Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-La.) said at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) at the National Harbor in suburban Maryland on Thursday.

“As a country, we must fight and win. We must win the war against radical Islamic terrorism,” said Jindal.  “President Obama has disqualified himself and has shown himself incapable of being our Commander in Chief.”

“Now why do I say that?” asked Jindal. “The president says ‘we are not at war with Islam.’ Well, certainly we’re not a war with Islam, but we are at war with radical Islam. We have a president who won’t even identify the threat that we face. How can we count on him to effectively win and prosecute this war? He’s got an attorney general who says we’re not even in a state of war.

“In 2016, it’s not an option for us to win this election - not because we’re Republicans, not because we’re conservatives - because we care about our country,” said Jindal. “This president is bankrupting our country financially, morally, our international standing.

“We have to win this election. We must win this election. We can win this election. We will win this election, so that your children and my children can say the same prayer my parents taught me. They are blessed to be born in the greatest country in the history of the world - the United States of America,” he said.
