Leno: Al-Jazeera Pays 500 Million for Current TV - 'Almost 10 Million Dollars Per Viewer'

(CNSNews.com) -Tonight Show host Jay Leno joked about Al Gore’s sale of Current TV Network to Al Jazeera for $500 million, or, as Leno put it, $10 million per viewer.

“Al Jazeera has bought Al Gore’s Current TV Network for $500 million -- $500 million, that’s almost $10 million per viewer.  That is a lot of money," joked Leno.

"And they said viewers will notice changes under Al Jazeera.  For example, while both networks report that global warming is caused by man, only Al Jazeera specifically blames the Jews – that’s the difference.

"I like to watch the crowd go: ‘Can we laugh at that, is that okay, is that okay?’”
