( – Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) on Friday described a system for securing body parts from unborn babies that was like shopping for any other product.

“This is the place where StemExpress sells the baby body parts – a drop down box with everything listed – brain, heart, lung, liver, tongue, scalp – click on what you want. Click on the gestation period you want. Click on the date you want it, and then proceed to checkout to pick your form of shipping,” Blackburn said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority 2016 conference in Washington, D.C.

“It really is baby body parts on demand,” Blackburn said, describing the website.

Blackburn is the chairman of the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, created to investigate the distribution of body parts of aborted babies by StemExpress, Planned Parenthood Federation of America and others, as exposed by a series of videos by the Center for Medical Progress.

In her remarks, Blackburn said selling fetal tissues of any kind for profit violates federal law.

As reported earlier by, the panel subpoenaed some of the organizations under investigation earlier this year that have refused to provide documentation it sought, including StemExpress, the University of New Mexico and Southwestern Women’s Options.
